Due to the unique conditions of maritime shipping, "container rain" can develop inside containers during transportation. When a container transitions from high-temperature regions to cooler waters, moisture in the internal air condenses into droplets on the roof and sidewalls, which may then drip continuously onto the cargo. This can result in the softening and rupture of cardboard packaging, rusting of metal products, short circuits in electronic devices, and mould growth on goods.
